Our Inspiration
Our inspiration comes from the quiet romance of rain in the city — the kind of atmosphere found in classic Hong Kong cinema, where mist, reflection, and passing light turn ordinary streets into something more cinematic.
Overcast Studio was created around that feeling: rainy days that feel calm instead of dull, clothing that moves through the city without looking overly technical, and everyday pieces that carry a sense of stillness, nostalgia, and ease.
Fabric and Craft
Every piece begins with how it feels in daily life: light enough to move with you, structured enough to hold its shape, and practical enough for changing weather.
For our Caffè Series, we use a water-resistant PU blend infused with recycled coffee grounds. The material gives each bag a clean structure, a warm surface feel, and a subtle trace of coffee — a small sensory detail that makes the piece feel quietly distinctive.
Across our rainwear and accessories, we focus on materials that feel useful first and expressive second: protective, easy to wear, and made for the slower rhythm of overcast city days.
